The diffrence between stepper motor and servo motor
Stepper motor have the symobols as below :
Divide the movement of a circle into several segments and rotate it like a second hand.
Accurately control start-stop, direction and position, which is used in automated control, such as assembly lines.
The higher the rotation speed, the smaller the torque, and the torque decreases quickly during high-speed operation, which is
suitable for low-speed scenarios.
There is no anti-overload, it can be pulled, angle and direction it is easy to lose steps, and it is easy to vibrate at low speed.
Servo motor have the symbols as below :
Continuous movement, equipped with deceleration gears and encoders.
Faster response, more accurate control, used on robotic arms, etc.
Servo motor Constant torque output, anti-overload, can't pull, will not overload, and is stable at low speed.
Although it is good, it is expensive.
